One the choir's newer recruits, Manisha was part of the Soul Sounds Academy Choir in 2008 before she joined Soul Sounds in 2013.

Music and singing have always been very close to her heart. She was a winner of 'S' Factor in 2012, and has voiced many TV and radio commercials since the age of three.

Manisha was a member of the Bishops College school choir under the direction of the late Miss Ruwani Seimon, and participated in many school choir productions and all island Inter-School Western Music competitions. She has also completed her ABRSM Grade 5 singing examination.

Manisha was a member of the schools rowing team which won the overall championship in 2013, and was also a colours-woman for two consecutive years.

She completed her London A/L's in June 2014, achieving the highest result in the subject of Law. Manisha is learning French in the interim and aspires to pursue a career in Animal Science in the future.

"As a young child I used to attend many concerts of various choirs, Soul Sounds being my favorite and it was my aspiration to someday be a part of a choir of this caliber. I am extremely grateful to Aunty Soundarie for giving me the opportunity to be a part of such a talented and reputed ensemble. The experience thus far has been great!"
