Twenty-two-year old Andrea has been a dedicated chorister of Soul Sounds since its inception. With a firm grounding in the arts – she studied ballet and has been involved in singing since the age of fourteen – Andrea is a multitalented and gifted individual with a flair for acting. She possesses a lovely personality as well.
She participated in Shakespeare Drama competitions in school, and was a member of the theatre production, ‘Smike’, which was directed by Jerome L. de Silva in 1999. She is currently a teacher at Lyceum International School, Nugegoda, and has completed her Associate Trinity College of London (ATCL) in Speech and Drama.
The first member to tie the knot, Andrea has a beautiful voice and her creative abilities are a great asset to the choir, as she is a makeup artist in addition to being a costume designer for Soul Sounds.
