Twenty-one-year old Angela always had a passion for singing and this led her to join the choir in 2002. Her interests include singing, listening to music and watching movies. She has a beautiful, deep voice and can pitch high notes effortlessly. She is also a fast learner when it comes to learning new and demanding parts. She was a member of the choirs that performed in Wales, China and India.
Angela is currently working as a Phone Banker at the Standard Chartered Bank in Colombo. She is also following a basic course in Banking.
Compared to most of the choir, Angela can be described as placid and unruffled. Yet when the situation calls for it, the words ‘placid and unruffled’ don’t come even close to describing her! She never gets irritated or annoyed unless she is really provoked. She’s also very understanding and patient whenever one goes to her with their tales of woe. Angela also has a fine sense of humour which surfaces when one least expects it!
