Anushka was a member of the Holy Family Convent Choir which participated in the Llangollen Musical Eistedfood in Wales 2004. Soon after her return from Wales she left for the United States to pursue her undergraduate degree. Upon completion she has now returned to Sri Lanka and has joined Soul Sounds. Anushka says she is thrilled about being a part of the choir for her appreciation of music and the great company that Soul Sounds offers. Apart from singing she enjoys reading, writing, cooking, playing squash and designing her own clothes.
She is currently working as a Research Coordinator of the Development and Conflict Analysis Programme at International Alert in Colombo.
