An energetic twenty-year old, Cindy, is a former leader of Soul Sounds. She was a member of the Holy Family Convent Senior Choir and then joined Soul Sounds. She was devoted to music and singing since her early childhood, which is no surprise since she comes from a very musical family. She is the oldest of three sisters, who are all active members of Soul Sounds. They are popularly known as the ‘3Ds’ among the choir.
Cindy is not only good at singing, but she’s also good at dancing. She’s a natural dancer who does a variety of dancing such as ballroom and Latin American dancing. She is also a ballet dancer who performs under the Royal Academy of Dance.
Cindy is currently following a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems with Business Administration. She is also studying for her ATCL in speech and drama. In addition to this, she has dedicated her time to teaching as well. She’s a teacher at the Wendy Whatmore Academy of speech and drama in Colombo. Remarkably motivated and with a good sense of responsibility, Cindy is definitely an important part of the choir.
