Mangala is a twenty-four-year old who joined the Senior Choir of Holy Family Convent, Colombo 04, while she was in school and joined Soul Sounds thereafter. She has been singing with the group for the past eight years. She is quick at learning parts and is a silent but strong member of the choir.
Mangala comes from a very musical family, all of who are members of the Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka. Mangala plays the viola in the orchestra.
Apart from classical music she enjoys listening to jazz music as well.
Mangala is a passed finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting UK and is currently a student of the Sri Lanka Law College. She is awaiting her final year examination results and hopes to pursue a career in the legal field.
