Twenty one year old Roshani has been into the Arts since a very young age. She started Ballet under the guidance of Aunty Oosha at the Oosha Garten of Ballet at the age of 4. She has a passion for drama and has been a prize winner in speech and drama as well as a teacher at the Yolande School. Her theatrical achievements include Aladdin, 'Julie' in Magic and Mayhem produced by the Yolande School of Speech and Drama.
She was a part of the cast of Richard the Third which won the Inter-school Shakespeare Drama Competition in 2002. She played the role of 'Jessica' in Feroze Kamardeen's production 'Venice'.She started her vocal training with Mary Anne David at the age of 10 and has been a part of many performances. She was a member of the Holy Family Convent senior choir.
Being an enthusiastic performer she continued in the music trend when she joined Stafford International School for her A/levels where she excelled in her singing. Her love for the arts has carried her further and today she's a third year student at the Colombo School of Architecture and is doing her apprenticeship under Channa Daswatte and Murad Ismail at MICD Associates. Her hobbies are reading, listening to music and collecting shoes and handbags and despite her busy schedule always finds time to sing.
