Twenty-two-year old Roshni is passionate about dancing, singing, theatre and is also an animal lover. She started her singing career at the age of fifteen when she joined the Senior Choir of Holy Family Convent, Colombo 04. Roshni is a founder member of Souls Sounds and is one of its talented dancers.
Roshni studies Latin American dancing under Kevin Nugera and competed in the Latin Dance Championship held in Sri Lanka in 2005. Her love for theatre was nurtured when she took part in the musical ‘Smike’ directed by Jerome L. de Silva in 1999. Her latest theatrical achievement was playing the role of the Jessica in Feroze Kamardeen’s production of ‘Venice’.
Roshni is a second year student at the University of Colombo, reading for a degree in English Honours. With all these activities Roshni still finds time to pursue her career as a freelance copywriter.
Roshni is a costume designer and make up artist of the group. She is a dedicated chorister who is always willing to lend a helping hand.
