Shyara is a fun loving, yet quiet girl. She is currently a student at The Study (a sixth form college), but has been a student at Hillwood College in Kandy, Hong Kah Primary School in Singapore, Methodist College & Stafford International School in Colombo. In all these schools, singing has been her forte. She has participated in many singing competitions and sung in the school choirs. She has also sung solo specials in church and at various Christmas and Easter programmes.
Although her time with Soul Sounds has been short, she has enjoyed singing various ensembles with the girls. She enjoys variety, and her voice ranges from a from a soprano to an alto.
Her ambition in life is to touch lives through her singing.
